The Chinese Smartphone Maker Meizu has announced a bunch of smartphones in September including the Meizu X8. It’s one of these smartphone that will be equipped with a Snapdragon 710 chipset, and is priced on the lower end of around $230.
Meizu X8 is available from October 15, on Monday 10 AM local time on sale, and device has been on pre-order ever since its announcement. It’s the first device from the company to sport a notch while it comes with a 6.2-inch 1080×2220 LCD panel. The Meizu X8 base model with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage is priced at CNY 1,798 ($259), and the 6GB of RAM and 128GB comes with a price tag of CNY 1,998 ($288).
Meizu X8 runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with Meizu’s Flyme UI, and the camera packs 12 MP + 5 MP dual rear camera system, as well as a 20 MP shooter for selfies. It is fueled by a 3,210 mAh battery. The dual SIM smartphone measures 151.20 x 74.60 x 7.80 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 160.00 grams. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB Type-C and Active 4G.
