The Taiwanese Company HTC is set to launch a mid-range Smartphone to be powered by the Qualcomm Snadpragon 435 SoC. The listing appeared by Nashville Chatter on the Bluetooth SIG website. It is worth mentioning that the chipset is a couple of years old now, and the Chinese smartphone companies Redmi and Realme manufacturing budget devices are equipped with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC.
HTC was one of the top smartphone makers in the world back then, but the company is now failing to keep up with the latest times. Despite many recent smartphones launches and the company being in news for being acquired by Google, it’s largely become irrelevant keeping up with the times. The latest mid-range smartphone HTC is working with the model number HTC 2Q72XXX further hints on the slide towards irrelevance.
